How can I use Payment Terms once I’ve been approved?

You can follow these general guidelines:

1.To place a Payment Terms order, follow this easy 2-step process:

• Let the supplier know you want to use Payment Terms (suppliers may know it as OA, or Open Account) and negotiate the terms of payment (such as the 30 or 60-day payment period and initial
• deposit amount). If they are not a participating supplier but would like to apply, you can ask them to apply for the service first.
• The supplier will draft a Payment Terms order if they agree with all the terms which can be viewed by going to My Alibaba > Orders.

2. Confirm your Payment Terms order by going to My Alibaba > Orders after the order was successfully placed.

3. Make the first payment stipulated in the order.

4. The supplier ships the goods and your Payment Terms period starts.

5. Pay the remaining balance before the due date.
